Koko Seki Fabric

Have you seen this very retro print by Japanese designer Koko Seki? It might be called Flower Power and the collection might be called 70s Fashion Girl, but I’m not 100% certain. It’s too hard to figure this stuff out anymore! Search everywhere on the internet seems a bit broken.

What I am certain about is it is really colorful and pretty darn sweet. So sweet, that I had to buy some of this pink colorway.

There is also a blue colorway (it’s almost sold out!) of this print and some shops on etsy also have Oxford fabrics by Koko Seki and some other quilting cotton weight prints. Check out the ones I’ve rounded up into an etsy collection here.

I did notice someone mentioned some of the quilt weight fabrics are slightly coarse due to having a weave on the looser side and I will say this pink one does fit that description. It is nice fabric but feels more like Kona cotton and is not a super tight weave, silky smooth fabric.

It’s so cute that I’ve already started putting it to good use! It is perfect for lining this zip top bag and it also made a really sweet little zipper pull.

If you’d like to make something yourself with these two fabrics, check out this remnant bundle in my etsy shop.
