Pellon SF101 ShapeFlex Fusible Cotton Interfacing

(1) yard (20” x 36”) of SF101 Shape-Flex® all purpose woven cotton fusible interfacing.

This is the interfacing I use in almost all my sewing projects.

Since it's 100% cotton it is very easy to work with and doesn't melt like poly interfacings. You can iron the interfacing (non-adhesive side), so there's no need for a press cloth or to flip the fabric you are applying it to upside down where you can't see what's happening. If it gets wrinkled just iron it to your fabric piece--no need to try to steam the wrinkles out first.

The Pellon instructions are shown here. I've been using this interfacing for more than a decade and do it a little differently: I cut it about 1/8" smaller than the fabric piece, place the fabric piece RS down on the ironing board, place the adhesive side of the interfacing on the WS of the fabric, and press/iron on the cotton setting.

From the Bolt:

"Provides crisp support for collars, cuffs, yokes, pockets, facings and other detail areas of a garment. Use with light to medium woven and knit fabrics, including oxford cloth, chambray, gingham, madras, tattersall, pin cord, flannel, polyester/cotton blends, calicos, etc."

The amount you order is cut as one continuous piece. It will be folded for shipping, but no worries...any wrinkles will press out when you use it.
