Mini Fabric Basket in Tilda’s Gracie

One of the things I’ve made from Tilda’s Gracie print in blue is the Mini Fabric Basket and it turned out really adorable in this small scale floral print.

In case you are wondering, the Mini Fabric Basket is like the Basket Bags but much smaller and it has a flat bottom base made from an additional piece of fabric. So it will sit up on it’s own without stuff inside, unlike the Basket Bags which need contents in order to stand up.

It's shown with thread and a seam ripper in the photo above to show the scale but I'm actually using this in the kitchen to hold clothes pins. I was using a small Basket Bag for these but it was a bit of overkill as far as how many clothes pins it holds. I use them all the time to close bread bags and just about anything else in a plastic bag because are so much easier than dealing with twist ties or trying to reclose ziploc bags but don’t need 100 of them in the kitchen.
