Messenger Bag PDF Sewing Pattern

Sew a messenger bag with two pockets using this PDF sewing pattern.

It has two inset pockets and with curved openings so it's easy to slide your hand in and out. One pocket is on the front and the second is on the inside.

Depending on how much sewing experience you have and how fast you sew, this will take about 3 - 5 hours to make.

The pattern document is a paper & ink friendly 18-pages:
• 10-pages of text instructions along with color photos
• 8-pages of black & white pattern pieces

Intermediate Sewing Pattern: You are comfortable with sewing in general and have experience making bags with hardware. This pattern is not for beginners. Please get in touch if you need help selecting a pattern for your skill level.

Supplies You Provide:
Look for the hardware in this section.
• 1 yard 42” exterior fabric
• 2/3 yard 42” lining fabric
• 2 yards 20” fusible interfacing - Pellon SF101
• 1/2 yard 42” fusible fleece - Pellon 987f
• Ruler and/or yardstick
• Chalk or fabric marking pen
• (1) 1.5” cinch buckle
• (1) 1.5” slide
• (1) 1.5” rectangle ring
• General sewing tools/notions: Scissors, machine, thread, etc.
