Use this simple to follow PDF SEWING PATTERN to stitch up this two-pocket pouch in two different sizes.
These bags only look complicated and the zipper installation in them is super simple! This pattern isn't recommended for beginners, but if you are pretty comfortable with sewing and haven't tried sewing with zippers yet, this would be an excellent first zipper project.
If you have pretty solid sewing skills and accessory sewing experience, this is a 2 - 3 hour project. Once the cutting and interfacing prep work is done, this project finishes up very quickly.
Size 1 is a good size for many phones, Moleskine Pocket Cahier journals, or to use as a small clutch/wallet. The main pouch will hold a phone up to 5.5" x 3.5". The zippered pocket will hold a phone up to 4.87" h x 2.31" w x 0.30" deep (iPhone SE or smaller).
Size 2 will hold a tablet computer or journal measuring up to 7.5" x 10" and up to 0.5" deep.
This document is a paper and ink friendly 14-pages: 6-pages of color photo and text instructions (in English) + 8-pages of black and white pattern pieces.
