Messenger Bag PDF Sewing Pattern
Make a medium size messenger bag with an adjustable cross body style strap using this PDF SEWING PATTERN.
This bag has two inset pockets--one under the flap and then a second one inside. These pockets can also be repeated on the back of the bag and the opposite side of the lining, if desired. There's also a mod for adding a zipper pocket here.
It is roomy enough to hold the essentials, but small enough to keep the bag light (and not painful to wear!).
This project is not too complicated or long, and at the end, you'll have a beautiful new bag. For people with bag making experience this project can be completed in an afternoon.
To make this bag to last, use home dec fabric, canvas, medium weight denim or other sturdy fabrics. Quilting cotton is also fine, but it will wear out faster because of the friction of the bag against your body.
The pattern document is 18-pages total: 10-pages of instructions with color photos + 8-pages of black and white pattern pieces.
