Sew your scraps into pretty bookmarks with this PDF SEWING PATTERN.
These are great scrap bin busters and are a 20-minute project for a lot of people. Make them for teacher gifts, to stock your online store or next craft show, sell wholesale to your local book store, for fundraising events, etc.
The way these are made gives them beautiful squared off corners without needing to trim the fabric. This method also does not require hand stitching for the bookmark (but do use a few stitches to anchor the ribbon).
Besides the bookmark, you can use this same technique for patch pockets, closure tabs for bags and accessories, straps, fabric cuffs, patches for clothing or other surface embellishment, textile wall hangings, etc.
This document is a paper and ink friendly 5-pages: 4-pages of text/color photo instructions + 1-page of full size pattern pieces.
Finished bookmarks are for sale in my etsy shop here.
